Last updated: July 2, 2026

SISU Edge (“SISU Edge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an off-ice hockey performance training facility in Vancouver, British Columbia, and the related website and family/athlete portal. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use our services:

  • Account information — parent/guardian name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
  • Athlete information — an athlete’s name, date of birth, position, age division, jersey number, and any notes relevant to their training.
  • Health and waiver information — signed waivers and any medical or injury information you choose to share so we can train athletes safely.
  • Booking and payment information — sessions registered, credits purchased and used, and transaction records. Card payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage and device information — basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, collected to operate and improve the site.

2. How we use your information

  • Create and manage your family account and athlete profiles.
  • Register athletes for sessions, manage credits, and process payments.
  • Deliver training safely and communicate about schedules, cancellations, and account activity.
  • Send confirmations, receipts, and important service notices.
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our services or as required by law, including with:

  • Service providers — payment processing, email delivery, hosting, and analytics partners who handle data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Our coaches and staff — limited to the information needed to train your athlete and manage sessions.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our athletes, staff, or others.

4. Children’s and minors’ information

Many of our athletes are minors. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who provides and consents to the collection of their athlete’s information. We use athlete information solely to deliver and administer training. If you believe we have collected a minor’s information without appropriate guardian consent, please contact us and we will promptly address it.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services, then retain it only as required to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations or to resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable British Columbia and Canadian privacy law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent for certain uses. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes may be communicated to you directly. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
