Terms &Conditions.

The terms that govern your use of SISU Edge services, sessions, and website.

Last updated: July 2, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, website, and family/athlete portal operated by SISU Edge (“SISU Edge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an off-ice hockey performance training facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. By creating an account, registering for a session, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility and accounts

Accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of their athlete(s), or by an adult athlete. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Sessions, credits, and payments

Training is booked using credits purchased through our packages. Credits are applied to your family account and used to register athletes for sessions. Prices and package details are provided at the time of purchase. Credits have no cash value except as required by law and are intended for use toward SISU Edge sessions.

You authorize us (and our payment provider) to charge the applicable amount for packages you purchase. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.

3. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel a session registration through your account. Our standard cancellation policy is:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a session are refunded as credits to your account.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of a session are not refunded.
  • Removing an athlete from a waitlist before a spot is confirmed does not use or forfeit credits.

If SISU Edge cancels a session, the credits used to register are returned to your account. We may make reasonable exceptions to this policy at our discretion (for example, documented injury or illness).

4. Assumption of risk and waivers

Athletic training involves inherent risks, including the risk of physical injury. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks. A signed waiver and, where applicable, guardian consent are required before an athlete participates. You confirm that each athlete is in suitable physical condition to train and that you have disclosed any relevant medical conditions or limitations. If you are unsure, consult a physician before participating.

5. Conduct

Athletes, parents, and guardians are expected to treat coaches, staff, other families, and the facility with respect and to follow reasonable safety instructions. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that is unsafe, abusive, or disruptive, or that violates these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The SISU Edge name, logo, website, training materials, and content are owned by SISU Edge and protected by applicable law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

7. No guarantee of results

We are committed to high-quality coaching, but individual results vary and depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific athletic outcome, performance improvement, or advancement. Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SISU Edge and its owners, coaches, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. This section applies in addition to, and does not replace, any signed waiver.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SISU Edge and its staff from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your or your athlete’s use of our services or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia for any dispute arising from these Terms or our services.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
